The Santa Cruz shelter has gone through many stages before, during and after the pandemic caused by COVID-19. The concern is that our young people in their online classes have three main problem areas: connectivity, telephones and computers. The Scholarship Program, sustained and supported by Osman Hope, has been excellent. One of the most outstanding main elements is our friend and one of the directors of Osman Hope, Kenneth Lavy, who through his various contacts in the United States, has supported us with the donation of computers and currently the donation of laptops. With this, our young people have no excuse for not keeping up with their homework in their different classes.

All of the shelters have added computers and upgraded their WIFI systems so that all the children and young adults can continue on with their studies. Thanks to Ken Lavy, we are expecting another 17 computers.
